| Petros Fassoulas | Chairman |
.bmp) | Petros Fassoulas became chairman in 2009, having been vice-chairman responsible for media relations. He is also a member of the EM national executive and regional coordinator for London. Petros has extensive EU experience after working in Brussels for the EU institutions and as a consultant. More recently he was a policy adviser to the EU Select Committee of the House of Lords and EU affairs adviser for the Financial Services Authority. He is currently the Head of Policy for Europe and Americas at the ACCA. Petros writes regularly on a variety of EU related issues. He also does a lot of public speaking, not least in schools around London, debating the benefits of EU membership. |

 | Anna Arki runs a speaker service for the European Movement nationally. A former BBC current affairs producer, she has also worked as political liaison officer for the Britain in Europe campaign and for Europe Direct in London. |

| Max Deckers Dowber | Vice-chair

 | A History & Politics (BA Hons) graduate from the University of Leicester, Max has also completed an MSc in International Security at the University of Bristol. Since 2005 Max has spent each summer lecturing as an Associate Professor at the American Institute for Foreign Study on the European Union and International Relations. Having worked as a political consultant and at the Home Office Max has a range of experiences in campaigning, political research, public affairs and public relations. Max has also previously worked in the Houses of Parliament by providing pro bono secretariat support to the All Party Parliamentary Rail Group. He speaks German and has worked in Estonia, Vietnam, Germany and France, and enjoys running, reading and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

| Estelle Rouhaud | Vice-chair

 | After completing her Master degree in European Policies at Rennes University in France, Estelle moved to London in 2007 and joined the European Movement. She has been actively involved since then in the activities of the European Movement's head office, the European Movement in London and the Young European Movement. She also has extensive experience in the environmental sector, having worked for three years for the climate change non-governmental organisation Action for a Global Climate Community, and currently working in the energy, environment and development programme of the think tank Chatham House.

 | Richard Wassell was CLEG chairman 2000-3 and a member of the EM national executive 1985-95 and 2007-9. National coordinator for the EM Speak Up Europe project 2007-8. Currently re-launching the European education trust Centre for Europe. Richard is a council member of ESAN (European Social Action Network). Within EuNet (European Network for Education and Training) he chaired the council for development and cooperation 2008-9. Co-founder of DARE (Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe) and treasurer 2005-9. Treasurer/international officer with Veterans in Europe.

 | Eva Eberhardt was actively involved in organising CLEG's Speak Up Europe programme. She worked as a EU gender and civil society expert, leading many EU research projects and teaching EU social policies.

| Dr Chris Guy Maddox is a Committee Member of EMiL and was Central London European Group Secretary: 2008-9. For over twenty years he has worked as a university lecturer and consultant in social theory, social psychology and individual psychotherapy. He is also a member of the Federal Union, the Labour Movement for Europe, Universla Esperanto Asocio, the Spinelli Group, and the Adlerian Society. He is particularly interested in how Europe can work together for social solidarity, peace and security, democracy and sustainable development.

 | Hilary Naqvi joined CLEG in June 2008 after being a member of the EM group in Oxford. Worked in the European Parliament in Brussels for five years and has been closely associated with the EU overseas for fifteen years. Professionally is an education consultant running courses in presentation skills.
